Collaborating with Oikos Lausanne, the Snowball Lab is organising a creative weekend to stimulate new ideas and projects for the city we live in.
We believe that every person has a creative side and some ideas about what could be done to improve the city we live in. We are collaborating with the student association Oikos Lausanne to organise a weekend where we bring people together. During this “citizen hackathon” (that is definitively NOT restricted to only IT geeks) attendees will be encouraged to think outside the box and help each other develop ideas that could potentially becoming prototypes or business models.
This event is not just a weekend of fun and new ideas, but a start of something bigger:
It encourages people to think about the world in which they live and to develop a shared sense of ownership and responsibility.
It allows new projects to emerge. Not all of them will come to fruition, but some of them will grow, merge and have a positive impact on our city.
Doing something together, not just for oneself, but for the community in which we live, brings a sense of satisfaction that many people strive for.
